Description: This kilim likely served as a blanket and was made on a horizontal loom in two panels. Made of natural black and red dyes, it is made of cotton and wool. This unusual design prominently features three, chain-like strands, each made from two serpentine lines. The chains are separated by four vertical sets of designs composed of a central red/black alternating band, two solid black lines, and then two outer-facing pixelated triangular decorated bands. Each end features a thin white fringe.
